On November 26, Carter and fellow archaeologist Lord Carnarvon entered the interior chambers of the tomb, finding them miraculously intact. Over several years, an incredible collection of several thousand objects was uncovered. The most splendid architectural find was a stone sarcophagus containing three coffins nested within each other. Inside the final coffin, which was made out of solid gold, was the mummy of the boy-king Tutankhamen, preserved for more than 3,000 years. Most of these treasures are now housed in the Cairo Museum.”

JASON KELCE SLAMS FAN’S PHONE AFTER RUDE COMMENT
Jason Kelce was appearing at the ESPN “College GameDay” event on Saturday. The retired Eagles center was walking around University Park in State College, Pennsylvania, carrying a case of beer as people started recognizing and filming him. Among the comments from fans, one college guy made a derogatory comment about brother Travis Kelce’s relationship with Taylor Swift. The guy said, “Kelce how does it feel that your brother is a [gay slur] for dating Taylor Swift.” Kelce turned around to the person who uttered the insult, grabbed the guy’s phone and slammed it on the ground in anger.
* Hulk smash!
* And now that guy can sell that phone on eBay for $5000.
* With one line, that guy took on the LGBTQs, a pro-football player, and most dangerous of all, Swifties.
* Good luck getting laid now, college boy.

OPRAH’S FAVORITE THINGS FOR 2024
Oprah Winfrey has released her list of all the things people paid her a lot of money to promote this year. To be honest, it may be junk, but at least it’s reasonably priced junk. The only items that seem totally overpriced are the food items. Here are some of Oprah’s Favorite Things for 2024:
– K. Carroll “Color Me Clutch,” a clutch purse with LED lights that change the color of the purse. $40
– The Santa Barbara Design Studio Mashed Potato Book Box. You get a peeler, potato masher, and a spatula. $30
– Litflask Smart Water Bottle. Everything you wanted in a water bottle: double-insulation, a light bulb, and a Bluetooth speaker. $99
– Bonilla a la Vista Potato Chips. Twenty ounces of potato chips. $55
– Tonya’s Cookies Cream Cheese Pound Cake. $75
– Cup of Té Luxe Pyramid Tea Bag Gift Set. Six tea bags of different flavored tea. $90
– A box of Mighty Mallows Rice Krispies treats. Eight Krispie treat. Eight of them. $64
* Once again, all those things Oprah loved last year? Pffft. Gone. She’s so fickle.
* How has she managed to keep Gayle around for so long?
* Nothing over $100? Someone must have told her about the inflation us regular people have been dealing with.
* I would think her favoritest thing of the year would be those Ozempic pills.
* She’s doing so good on the weight-loss drugs, there’s no more stretch pants on her Favorite Things lists.

ELITE NYC SCHOOL GIVING KIDS OFF THE DAY AFTER ELECTION IF THEY FEEL “DISTRESSED”
An elite school in New York City has grabbed the headlines by announcing that they will let students stay home the day after the election if they feel too “emotionally distressed.” The Ethical Culture Fieldston School is not only giving students the optional day off, but students won’t get any homework on Election Day and won’t have any tests the following day. The school’s annual tuition is listed at $65,000. The New York Times reached out to Jerry Seinfeld, whose son attended the Fieldston School, for reaction. Jerry blasted the school, saying that he pulled his son out of the school because his boy didn’t like it, for exactly this kind of reason. Jerry said, “What kind of lives have these people led that makes them think that this is the right way to handle young people? To encourage them to buckle. This is the lesson they are providing, for ungodly sums of money.”
* And what is up with cafeteria food? Three chicken nuggets and eight tater tots? And, by the way, did they forget to deep-fry the 2% milk? What is the deal with that?
* Comedians in Class Getting Cranky.
* He thinks $65,000 is an ungodly sum of money. This, from a guy who made the Bloomberg Billionaires Index list for the first time this year.
* Do the kids have to prove they were emotionally distressed by showing how many pages they did in their Stress Relief Coloring Books?
* I’ve got news for all you parents and educators out there: your kid doesn’t care about the election. All they care about is the TikToks and that Korean Boy Band, what is it, the STDs?
SURFER BITTEN BY SHARK AT SAME BEACH, 11 YEARS APART
A Florida surfer was bitten by a shark on the exact same beach where he survived a similar attack 11 years ago. Cole Taschman, 28, was catching waves with his friends at Bathtub Beach in Stuart, Florida last week when a large shark clamped down on both his feet. He screamed. Taschman estimated that the shark had to be about 7- or 8-feet long. The bite left him with multiple severed tendons in his foot. Taschman’s girlfriend, two friends and a food truck operator carried him into a car and fashioned tourniquets out of the surfboard leashes as they sped to the hospital. He underwent two surgeries and received a total of 93 stitches, and has months of rehab ahead of him. Coincidentally, eleven years earlier, Taschman was nipped by another shark at the same beach, though that bite was nothing compared to this new one.
* Some people never learn.
* You don’t come here for the surfing, do you, my friend?
* Ah, yes… Cole “Anchovy Toes” Taschman, they call him.
* The shark is thinking, “Alright, Taschman, back on the menu!”
* Bathtub Beach. He’d be safer surfing in a bathtub.

BRICK COLLECTION SEEKS MUSEUM
Two Scotsmen are looking for a museum to house what they call the biggest brick collection in the UK. Mark Cranston and Ian Suddaby have spent the last 15 years collecting thousands of Scottish-made bricks from all over the world. They now have 6,000, and they want to find a more secure and permanent home for them. Mark Cranston’s began collecting bricks in 2010 when he needed a doorstop for his garden shed.
Mr Suddaby is an archaeologist who started collecting bricks when he noticed other archaeologists discarding them at digs. He says, “Brick-making is a very important part of Scotland’s history because we do have some of the best quality fireclay in the world for making industrial bricks. The bricks have all been identified and catalogued. (* Do they put them in a book, like stamps?)They want to make sure they are saved for Scottish people and that the collection is there for all time.
* Have they tried the Rock Hall of Fame?
* They men have 6,000 bricks, yet they are still one brick short of a load, if you know what I mean.
* You know, fellas, you have 6,000 bricks. You could build your own museum.
* Besides collecting bricks, the two are in The Hernia Hall of Fame.
