The underwear comes with ice packs — called “SnowWedges” — that you put in the freezer for an hour before popping into a pouch that sits over the groin. The “SnowWedges” supposedly keep cool for 30 minutes. The underwear was created as a natural solution for men attempting to conceive – excessive heat kills the little spermies, so you’re supposed use the Snowballs Underwear to cool things off. However, reviews on Amazon websites suggest that some men are using the underwear as a way to cool off in the summer. Says one totally real and believable review: “This underwear works great, providing extra support and it feels really comfortable, especially on a hot day.” Others have complained that the ice packs didn’t keep cool for long enough, lasting for about 15 minutes.
