MCDONALD’S SHAKE SHORTAGE IN THE UK

McDonald’s has been forced to stop selling milkshakes at nearly 1,300 restaurants in the United Kingdom. The UK is suffering Brexit-related staff shortages along with supply chain delays caused by the pandemic. A shortage of truck drivers has also contributed to supply disruption in Britain.
* Supply problems? How far away do they import their ice cream from? South Africa?
* They’re called “lorries” in the UK. “Lorry Shakes,” not milkshakes.
* This’ll give all the McDonald’s a good excuse to clean out the shake machines. (pause) Pfft, I’m sorry, I thought I could get through that with a straight face.
* Instead of shakes, McDonald’s can substitute another favorite British beverage, like curried cucumber juice.
