MANHOLE COVERS STOLEN

Webster, Massachusetts, police arrested a man who stole seven manhole covers and put traffic cones in their place. The 46-year-old man was arrested last Friday and charged with larceny. One witness saw the suspect taking a manhole cover, and then authorities received several other calls about missing manhole covers. Police stopped a vehicle matching the witness’ description later that day. Authorities recovered the manhole covers Wednesday from a salvage yard.
