MAN STABS BROTHER OVER WHAT HE WORE TO A FUNERAL
A Washington, D.C. man was stabbed four times by his brother while attending a funeral – over the color of his shirt. About 75 family members were gathered for the funeral of a loved one, when all of a sudden Devontye Walden, 24, and Justice Walden, 22, began fighting in the parking lot. The fight was reportedly over what Devontye chose to wear to the uncle’s funeral – the color red. Devontye told police he wore red because his deceased uncle always wore red, but Justice alleges Devontye wore red to represent a gang. Justice allegedly stabbed his older brother in the wrist, stomach, armpit and chest.
* Stabbing your brother over a shirt – that’s the Justice system.
* Red’s always nice, ’cause it hides the blood stains.
* I guess the idea was to put so many holes in the shirt, he’d have to change it.
* It’s good, now and then, to have a break from the gun violence.
* Then, it was off to Aunt Esther’s for the reception.
