MAN SET WIFE'S SAXOPHONE ON FIRE

A Traverse City, Michigan man was arrested for setting his wife’s saxophone on fire. This is not a euphemism. The unnamed 46-year-old man had a fight with his 36-year-old wife. Afterwards, he drunkenly destroyed their apartment, threatened to slit his wrists with a box cutter and set her saxophone ablaze on the balcony. The suspect had stuffed it with paper to stoke the flames.
* The wife was described as a “brassy dame”.
* Problems in a marriage always come down to sax, don’t they?
* She tried to talk some sense into him, but he said, “Don’t give me any of that jazz!”
* This relationship has hit a real sour note.
* It could have been worse. She could have been practicing the violin.
* That would be rough on a husband. Here you are all pent up and your wife is blowing the saxophone instead.
* In case you’re wondering Traverse City is named after a bay and it means the long crossing.
* Now this guy’s traversing the city looking for a good lawyer.
* Hey, points off for using box cutters. That’s still a very painful reference for most Americans.
