MAN ROBS BANK, USES MONEY TO BUY ENGAGEMENT RING
Authorities in Ohio say a man robbed a bank and used the money to buy his fiancee an engagement ring. 36-year-old Dustin Pedersen has been charged with robbing a bank of $8,800 in Trenton, Ohio, on December 16. Records show that Pedersen spent $4,500 on an engagement ring less than an hour after the robbery and presented to his girlfriend the next day. Police say Pedersen became a suspect after a man wearing an identical hat robbed a different bank six days later.
* Shoulda spent 20 bucks on a new hat.
* Kind of romantic, if this was Bonnie and Clyde.
* “Darling, will you be my wife, in 7-to-10 years, 5 with good behavior?”
* He should be charged with holding out on his fiance with such a cheap ring.
* Maybe he saved the other half of the money for the bachelor party.
* The second robbery was to pay for the honeymoon getaway.
* He’ll still end up with a wife – a prison wife.
