MAN PRANKS HIS FRIEND ON A FIRST DATE
This happened in Glasgow, Scotland. Stephen Durand, 38, was meeting a woman for a first date at a nice restaurant. Durand told his friend, Lee McIver, about the date. His friend called the restaurant, pretending to be Durand, and told the staff he was planning on proposing that night and ordered a cake that said “Will you marry me?” to be brought to the table. The restaurant staff reportedly dimmed the lights, brought out a candle, bottle of prosecco and a piece of cheesecake on a plate with the words “Will you marry me?” written in chocolate. The woman was shocked and insisted, “this isn’t our ours, 100% it’s not ours.” Though the couple realized it was a joke, the woman reportedly did not enjoy the prank.
* Women never like pranks. What’s up with that?
* Well, there went any chance of sex that night for that guy.
* And who proposes with cheesecake? Classy restaurant, indeed.
* This is one of those little moments in a guy’s life where everything could have turned out differently if he was a millionaire.
* You know how sometimes two people become a couple, and it turns out one of them doesn’t like the other person’s friends? I think that might possibly happen with these two.
