MAN POISONED BY MCDONALD'S SODA

A Florida man claims he was hospitalized after a McDonald’s employee tried to “murder” him by putting a laundry bleach pod in his soda. Lee Graves of Jacksonville got a drink from the drive-thru last Thursday, but it was the wrong size. Graves told the attendant “this was supposed to be a large.” When she swapped it out, the soda began to “erupt like a volcano.” Graves took a couple of big sips to stop the bubbling, and noticed it tasted like chlorine. He took the lid off and saw a big clump of blue goo. He dumped out the drink, and in the bottom was a small block of bleach, like a laundry pod. Then, his stomach started cramping and he was feeling nauseous so he decided to get checked out. He was given blood work and an EKG, and was given two IVs and a pill to counter the affects of the bleach. The employee who gave him his drink denied spiking it, saying she only touched it to put the lid on.
* Part of McDonald’s new “We keep everything clean, even the food” initiative.
* He’s probably right because this would be a perfect way to murder someone with it never being traced back to you. DUH!!!
* A soda with a bleach pod. If you spilled it on your shirt, would it get out its own stain?
* Usually, I get stomach cramps and nausea when I’m THINKING about going to McDonald’s.
