MAN KILLS TWO, THEN DIES FROM HEART ATTACK
Police in Port St. Lucie, Florida, say a man killed his aunt and her boyfriend, but then died from a heart attack while trying to leave town. Police say that Melvin Anderson stabbed his aunt to death on February 19 in the bedroom of the home the two shared. Sometime later, the 61-year-old Anderson shot and killed his aunt’s 71-year old boyfriend. Just as that man’s body was being discovered, on February 28th, deputies responded to a car crash where a man – later identified as Anderson – had a heart attack while driving and crashed the car into a swale (* a low tract of land, especially one that is moist or marshy. Thanks, Google!) Police believe Anderson was angry about his aunt and her boyfriend moving in together, killed both of them and then died himself while trying to flee the area.
* At least he died doing something he loved. Wait, that doesn’t sound right. At least he got to cross some stuff off his bucket list. Wait – ah, never mind.
* He must have had a pretty good chuckle about the irony of it all, even if just for a moment before he croaked.
* One internet commenter says this sounds like the opening episode of the next season of “Fargo”.
* “They’ll never take me alive!!! URPPP!!!”
