MAN JAILED FOR LARGE BUTTER THEFT

In the UK, a man was in court for stealing 22 tubs of butter from a Tesco supermarket. Kieton Pearson put 22 tubs of Lurpak, worth about $120 (£95), into his bag and then left without paying. (* Who names their butter Lurpak?) A year ago, he had been convicted and given a suspended prison sentence for stealing packets of cheese from the same Tesco, in Houghton-le-Spring, from which he was banned. Mr. Pearson, who has 71 previous convictions, admitted the theft. He was sentenced to two months behind bars.
