MAN HAS BEEN SPELLING HIS NAME WRONG ALL HIS LIFE

A 61-year-old British man is ‘dumbfounded’ after his birth certificate revealed he’s been spelling his name wrong his entire life. Allan – with two L’s – Allan Grainger discovered his birth certificate and found out that he is officially called ‘Alan’ with one L. Not only he but his parents have been spelling his name with two Ls his whole life. He even has two tattoos of his own name – misspelled – on his arm. He says he’s not going to start spelling it with one L, saying, “I don’t see what difference it would make.”
* He’s a rebel.
* All that pencil lead and ball point pen ink wasted over the years adding that extra L. Darn shame.
* So there’s a guy out there with a name that’s missing an “L”, like Wiliam or Eliott or Russel.
* By the way – he’s British. He isn’t “dumbfounded.” He’s “gobsmacked.”
* Then you’ve got the opposite – people whose names everybody ELSE spells wrong, like Jake Gyllenhaal and Zack Galifianakis.
* Who tattoos their own name on their body? Does he have a memory problem?
