MAN FAKES KIDNAPPING, TRIES TO DISAPPEAR

A Bluefield, Virginia man was reported missing, then, after a massive search that included the use of state police helicopters and dogs, he was found hours later on the side of a road. Larry Wayne Price Jr. told police he had been kidnapped, drugged and held against his will by members of a motorcycle gang. But, upon questioning, his story quickly fell apart. In the end, Price said he just wanted to leave his wife, disappear and start a new life with his mistress. Price was arrested last week and charged with lying to federal authorities.
* At least he doesn’t have to worry about his wife anymore.
* But now the local motorcycle gangs want to teach him a lesson.
* His plan was missing the minor detail where he leaves town.
* Of course, now he’s going to have a prison wife, and it’s going to be harder to disappear from him.
* We keep hearing about fake kidnappings that never work. There’s a business opportunity here – something along the lines of “Kidnappings R Us”.
