MAN DEFIES LOCKDOWN, IS EATEN BY CROCODILES
A Rwandan man who reportedly defied a nationwide coronavirus lockdown to go fishing has been killed and eaten by a crocodile. The African country’s more than 12 million people have been under a stay-at-home order since Sunday to control the spread of COVID-19. Alice Kayitesi, the mayor of the southern Kamonyi district, says the tragic incident happened Wednesday morning in the Nyabarongo river. “He had broken the stay-home rule,” she told the BBC.
* Boy, they take their lockdowns seriously in Rwanda.
* The other day we learned of the word “Covidiot”? As in, “That covidiot left his house and got eaten by a crocodile.”
* Were the seafood sections of his grocery stores all sold out?
* Does this count as a virus fatality? Confusing.
* If he had the virus, maybe he’ll get some revenge by giving the crocodile a sore throat.
