MAN CONKS WENDY'S ROBBER ON HEAD WITH A CHAIR

A man visiting his parents in Yuba City, California, foiled a Christmas Day robbery at a Wendy’s. The 58-year-old man, identified only as Daniel, was with his elderly parents at Wendy’s for dinner on Christmas night. While waiting for their food, a man walked in wearing a bag over his head and a knife in his right hand. The robber cut in the front of the line and demanded money from the cashier. And, said Daniel, “That’s when I brought the chair down on his head.” Daniel said his only thought was, “I’m not going to let you turn this into somebody’s Christmas memorial.” Witnesses said the strike from the chair appeared to do the trick. The man quickly fled the eatery, empty-handed.
* Next time, try a restaurant that only has booths.
* It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like a Concussion.
* The robber probably came to his senses, realized he was at Wendy’s, and took off for Fatburger.
* Daniel’s one thought was about a Christmas memorial, not, “What the hell am I doing at Wendy’s with my parents on Christmas?”
* Getting brained with a chair on Christmas Day with the family. The same thing happened at my house.
