MAN COMPLAINS ABOUT FIRST CLASS ON BRITISH AIRWAYS
A first-class passenger on board a British Airways flight was not happy with the service, and has documented his complaints on TikTok. Jarvis Marcos filmed his experience while flying in a $7500 first-class seat from Mexico to London back in August with his girlfriend, calling the 11-hour trip the ‘worst experience’ he’d had on a flight. His complaints:
– The seats clearly hadn’t been cleaned, which especially during Covid is just not acceptable.
– There were large gouges missing out of the seat itself and the surrounding of the seat. Chunks of leather had been gouged out to the point where you could see the metal skeleton of the seat underneath.
– There were crumbs in the storage cubby holes and streaks of a sticky liquid on the tray tables which had dried on and not been cleaned.
– The air conditioning above his girlfriend’s seat was leaking and dripping water onto her.
– The in-flight meal was “stale” and “overcooked.”
– Due to a mechanical malfunction, the seat was unable to recline into a full bed as advertised.
Mr. Marcos did admit that he paid for both his and his girlfriend’s seat through frequent flyer miles. After complaining, he said, the airline offered the pair £150 ($200 US) per person in e-vouchers, and wouldn’t be offering further compensation.
* I bet he voted for Brexit, too.
* Dirty seats, crumbs, water dripping… welcome to my house.
* Bad inflight food? When does THAT ever happen?
* Chunks of leather gouged out of the seat area. That would have been the previous passenger’s Emotional Support Panther.
* “My girlfriend had to sit under a dropping air conditioner the whole trip! I mean— my EX-girlfriend had to sit under a dripping air conditioner the whole trip!”
* Which reminds me: How’re we coming with that whole “tax the rich” movement? Still nowhere? Ok.
