MAN BUYS HOARDER’S HOME, FINDS TREASURES
Alex Archbold runs an antique business in Canada. He buys and sells things for the business. He recently purchased the contents of a home that had belonged to a music teacher. He knew the house had a grand piano. He didn’t know the woman was a hoarder. Digging through piles of boxes and bags, he found a lot of trash, but then he started finding silver dollars, silver bars, wallets full of cash and bags containing gold and diamond rings – one was found stuffed inside of a shoe. Mr. Archbold said he spent $10,000 on purchasing the contents of the home, and after auctioning everything off he’s made about $400,000.
