MAN ARRESTED FOR BREAKING INTO PRISON

New York State Police on Saturday arrested a man for breaking into prison. Just after midnight, troopers got a call from a man named Cody Mallon, 19. He had broken into the now-closed Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill, New York, by crawling through a hole in the perimeter fence. The place has been closed for three years. He entered the premises to take photographs and became trapped in a cell. Troopers assisted Mallon out of the cell and then placed him under arrest, charged with Criminal Trespass.
* The Circle of Prison Life. The weird, weird Circle of Prison Life.
* See, I would have been thinking to myself “Don’t let the cell door close … Don’t let the cell door close …” but that’s just me.
* “You’re under arrest.” “Can I bring my camera?”
* On the bright side, his NEW cell has electricity and running water.
