MACY'S SANTA IS NOW TAKING RESERVATIONS

If you want to see Santa Claus at Macy’s in New York’s Herald Square, you’re going to need an appointment. In a bid to cut down on long lines, Macy’s is taking reservations to see their Santa. It’s the first time in the company’s 155 years of hosting the event that it’s disallowing impromptu stops from guests. According to the store, “The new reservation system is designed to minimize this by scheduling visitors to join the line at a time of your choice, allowing for the best possible holiday experience.” Santa will be available between Nov. 24 to Dec. 24 with free admission. He can booked 30 minutes to five days prior to a visit, according to Macy’s.
* You’d better not pout. That’s just the way it is.
* He can visit a billion homes in one night, but he can’t see your kid without an appointment.
* Santa needs to put himself on his own Naughty List.
* It’s 2017. Shouldn’t we be able to visit Santa online by now?
* If you overstay your appointment, Santa takes presents off your list.
* They should take a lesson from Disney’s Space Mountain, where there are two tracks, and set up two Santas – one family-friendly, the other a little faster, a little more thrills.
