LOST COW SPARKS TWO EMERGENCY CALLS IN ONE DAY
A lost cow on the run in Western Sydney, Australia, was the subject of two emergency calls. The cow was first spotted wandering loose at a shopping center in the town of Caddens on Tuesday night. Fire crews wrangled the cow and left it for safekeeping overnight on the grounds of nearby Western Sydney University. But on Wednesday morning, crews received another emergency call because the cow had become stuck up to her stomach in mud on campus. Firefighters used a fire hose to pull the cow out. The cow was reportedly so exhausted from the ordeal that she was unable to stand. Crews remained with her until she recovered from the ordeal while they tried to locate her owner.
* So things are pretty slow in Caddens, are they?
* Sounds like a good place to open a store that sells fencing.
* I’m sure the owner told them, “She’s your problem now, suckers.”
* One more emergency call, and the firemen are just gonna have a barbecue and be done with it.
