KITTY CAT CRUISE
A Singapore-based cruise line has created a special ocean cruise exclusively for cat owners. The tall ship Royal Albatross offers specialized dining cabins for cats so they can join their owners on a two-and-a-half-hour sunset dinner cruise along the coast of the resort island Sentosa. Up to 130 humans and 15 cats are welcomed aboard for each voyage. To bring a cat aboard, the cats must be spayed or neutered, over four months old, in good health, and free of all parasites. Owners are required to have their cats securely harnessed, leashed, and carried in carriers while boarding. The cats are welcome to join their owners on the dining deck for dinner, although they are not offered food on the ship but rather a take-home meal, because of their temperament and finickyness.
* And if a cat gets loose on the ship… well, you know, it’s just a cat.
* So how much does it cost to cruise and dine for two-and-a-half hours while your cat gives you a dirty look ’cause they’re not getting any food?
* One rule, though, is, if the cat goes up the mast, you go after it.
* 130 humans, 15 cats. Do the other 115 people bring a picture of their cat? Do a Zoom meeting with their cat?
* It’s the only ship that you can be sure doesn’t have bilge rats.
