JAYWALKER HIT BY TRUCK, GIVEN A TICKET

Daniel Gallagher, 57, was hit by a pickup truck while crossing a street in Hackensack (…ack-Ack-ACk-ACK!), New Jersey, Tuesday evening. According to police, Gallagher was not in a crosswalk when he was hit. He was taken to a hospital, and then Gallagher was issued a ticket for jaywalking.
* He was so mad, he smashed a watermelon with a giant mallet.
* How about a ticket for loitering while he was laying there waiting for the ambulance to come?
* Later, his wife yelled at him for coming home late without the milk she asked him to pick up.
* Crime levels are at an all-time low in Hackensack this year.
