JAPANESE BOYS NEED TO KISS MORE
Japan is experiencing a seriously declining birth rate, and so they are doing whatever they can to get people to partner up. A new survey of high schoolers finds that just over one-fifth – 22.8% – of boys in high school – ages 15 to 18 – have experienced a first kiss, the lowest number since the agency began surveying sexual behavior a half-century ago. Back in 2005, that number was at 50%. Girls in the 15-to-18 bracket who have kissed someone are at 27.5%, Japan currently has 125 million people; experts say it could have a population of just 53 million by the end of the century if young people don’t start with the kissing and stuff.
