ITALIAN MAN TRIES TO BLOW UP HIS NEIGHBOR

On August 5, an Italian man in Bianzè returned home from the supermarket and immediately smelled gas fumes. He went to check his boiler to make sure it wasn’t leaking. He then noticed a gas cylinder connected to a tube that went through a hole in his wall and into the house. He called firefighters to inspect the cylinder and the tube. Investigators were then able to trace the device to the 63-year-old neighbor next door, with whom he’d been having problems with over the years. The neighbor has been charged with attempted murder.
