HOW TO STAY THIN: TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF BEFORE GOING INSIDE
According to research from the Universities of Aveiro and Beira Interior in Portugal, you can stay slim by removing your shoes when entering the house. The research claims that everyday products contain “obesogens” which interfere with hormones and promote the build up of a fat in the body. These “obesogens” are found in house dust, cleaning chemicals, kitchenware and cosmetics. The researchers recommended switching from plastic containers to glass or aluminum and avoid synthetic cleaning products. They also say you should remove your shoes when entering the house to avoid bringing contaminants indoors, vacuuming often to stop chemicals building up in house dust, and removing carpets at work and home, replacing them with wooden floors.
* That’s not gonna happen. Next?
* So who funded this study, Hoover or Dyson?
* Everybody removes their shoes, and the stench of footstink makes you too nauseous to eat.
* Wait a minute – they said “stay” thin. There’s always a catch.
* Here’s how you stay thin. Before going inside, take your shoes off, put on a pair of sneakers, and go run a mile. Then go inside.
