HIDING FUGITIVE GETS STUCK, CALLS 911

A Salt Lake City, Utah man who was hiding from police had to call 911 to be rescued after getting stuck in his hiding spot. 46-year-old Shane Paul Owen called dispatchers for help on Tuesday, more than six hours after he accidentally locked himself in a church’s boiler room. Officers had been looking for Owens on Monday because he is a suspect in a string of burglaries and had warrants out for his arrest. An officer spotted him and attempted to pull his vehicle over, but Owen fled, got out of his car and ran into the church.
* God is not his copilot.
* A boiler room is no place to hide from the heat.
* Out of the boiler room and into the cooler.
* I’ll bet he took the Lord’s name in vain a few times during those six hours.
* Could have called a locksmith instead. Just sayin’.
