Two items in Health News out over the weekend:
– People who drink 6 glasses of water daily are happier, more optimistic, successful and energetic. According to new survey by Bosch home appliances of 2,000 Americans, respondents who drink at least six glasses of water daily (41%) were most likely to agree with the statement, “I’m very happy.”
* Well, you can’t argue with the science.
* Two-thirds of the people who said “I’m very happy” said it from the bathroom while peeing.
– Researchers with the European Society of Cardiology the time it takes someone to climb four flights of stairs can reveal their overall heart health and risk for coronary artery disease. * Jeeze, if it takes you more than one-and-a-half minutes to ascend four flights of stairs, it’s time to consult a coroner.
* Can I spread the one-and-a-half minutes into three sets of 30 seconds with two-minute breaks in between?
* If I’m understanding this news, the secret to happiness and a long life is to drink six glasses of water and always use the upstairs bathroom.
