GUY GETS BOX OF COCKROACHES IN THE MAIL

A Toronto man received a box full of live cockroaches in his mailbox. Christopher Lambe opened the box and saw brown objects and thought, “Okay! It’s cookies,” because he and his wife had just had a baby and neighbors had sent over a lot of food. But then he saw the cookies were moving. His wife realized the cookies were cockroaches – about a dozen of them, large, “the size of my palm,” he said. After posting a picture of them on community group social media, he got a knock on the door from an apologetic and embarrassed neighbor who had ordered the cockroaches for his tarantulas and reptiles. The box had been dropped off to the wrong house.
* His wife should be coming down from the refrigerator by the end of the week.
* His neighbor isn’t named Renfield is he?
* That almost became a really interesting day for a porch pirate.
* Mail order cockroaches, literally from Amazon – the jungle, not the warehouse.
* Although they could have come from the warehouse. How clean do they keep those places?
