GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM OFFERS TRUMP SOLID GOLD TOILET INSTEAD OF VAN GOGH
The Guggenheim Museum in New York City has denied President Trump’s request to borrow a Van Gogh painting for the first family’s White House quarters. Instead, they offered to send a solid gold toilet. Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan agreed to send his interactive masterpiece “America” – a working, 18-karat toilet that was installed in one of the museum’s restrooms in 2016 – instead of Van Gogh’s priceless 1888 watercolor “Landscape With Snow.” The museum explained that “Landscape With Snow” can’t be moved. Apparently, Trump has passed on the toilet.
* Passed! I said “PASSED on the toilet!”
* Oh, those crazy Guggenheims!
* That was quite the inspired little rebuke, Guggenheim Museum. Enjoy your IRS audit.
* Of all the renowned artists, Trump likes the one who was nuts? Weird.
* A Van Gogh masterpiece? I pictured Trump as more of a “Velvet Elvis” kind of guy.
* Said Trump: “No thanks, I already got one!”
