GIRL SCOUT COOKIES DEMANDED TO COVER DEBT

Law enforcement officials in Palm Coast, Florida, arrested two teenage brothers on disorderly conduct and battery charges at a Girl Scout cookie table outside a Walmart. The brothers claimed one of the girls at the table owed them $20. When an adult at the stand told them they wouldn’t pay, the boys demanded to be paid in cookies. When this method of payment was denied, the teens threw some punches and knocked over the table, scattering boxes of Girl Scout cookies.
* Won’t somebody think of the Thin Mints!!!
* A twenty dollar debt. That’s like, what, a box of Samoas?
* One way or another, they wanted some dough.
* The boys demanded to be paid in cookies? I see nothing wrong with that plan.
* Of course, it’d be tricky to switch our reserve currency from the dollar to the cookie now.
* Plus, you know how dirty money gets.
* One thing I’m sort of glad the story didn’t include: why the girl owes the boy 20 bucks.
* Geez, finally some teenagers interacting without their smartphones and this happens.
