GHOSTLY RONALD MCDONALD HAUNTS BURGER KING RESTROOMS

You know the “Bloody Mary” legend – if you stand in front of a mirror and say “Bloody Mary” three times, she’ll appear? This year, as a Halloween stunt, Burger King has installed voice-recognition software in the restrooms of select restaurants in Sweden and Denmark. If you go in and say the phrase “Canceled Clown” three times, the lights shut off and a vision of Ronald McDonald appears in the mirror. Burger King is taking a dig at McDonald’s, who a couple years ago canceled all ads with Ronald McDonald. So now, the ghost of Ronald pops up in the bathroom at Burger King.
* That’s just not going to help Ronald’s creepy reputation at all.
* At least he’s not sitting on a toilet.
* Meanwhile, the little Wendy’s girl is crying ’cause they won’t let her play.
* But if you want a REAL fright, go to the counter and order the Burger King Egg & Cheese Croissan’wich.
* Although, if you do, you’ll probably find yourself running back into the restroom.
