GHANA COFFIN MAKERS PROTEST
Coffin makers in Kumasi, Ghana, are planning a massive street protest over the low patronage of their product which, in case that went by you, is coffins. The manufacturers said their businesses have collapsed due to the high cost of materials such as wood and nails which have forced them to increase prices, but customers can’t afford the increases. They want the government to address their concerns by fixing the economy in order to bring down the cost of materials. (* Government: “Yeah, we’ll get right on that.”) They are reportedly planning to block some roads with coffins.
* Bring the city to a dead stop, eh?
* Inflation. It’s a killer.
* Have they tried getting materials on the underground market?
* Could there be a way to tastefully use 55-gallon drums?
