GEORGE WASHINGTON ORIGINAL RECIPE BEER
Budweiser is brewing a beer based on a recipe handwritten by our first president George Washington. Washington had hand-penned the recipe “To Make Small Beer” in his personal military journal, dating back to 1757. The full-bodied lager is brewed with toasted barley gains and finishes with a hint of molasses. The limited-edition Freedom Reserve Red Lager will be sold in vintage stubby bottles and one-pint cans, and will be available May through September 30, or while limited supplies last.
* Don’t get too excited. He stole the recipe from Samuel Adams.
* Be sure to also pick up a bag of Ben Franklin’s Original Recipe Philadelphia Soft Pretzels
* That’s why Washington crossed the Delaware – because, during the revolution, the drinking age in New Jersey was 18.
* Said George Washington, “I cannot tell a lie. My beer is better than that Bud Light river water crap.”
* George Washington, The Father of Our Hangovers.
* Meanwhile, Ben Franklin, always the coolest guy in the room, was smoking hemp.
