FUNERAL LIMOUSINE HIT BY TRAIN
A limousine carrying a family to a funeral was struck by a train last Thursday in Bartlett, Tennessee. According to a number of witnesses, the light was red and the railroad warnings were active when two motorcycle escorts leading the procession entered the intersection and crossed over the tracks, signaling to the limo to cross. The train hit the front of the limo. There were seven people inside the limo, including a baby. The child suffered two cuts to her head. Other passengers were treated for broken wrists, a shattered pelvis, broken ribs and a collapsed lung. Police are citing the escort drivers and the limo driver for failure to obey a railroad signal.
* Oh, good. THAT’LL teach ’em!
* What was the rush to the funeral? The guest of honor wasn’t going anywhere.
* These promotional stunts for that new “Final Destination” movie are getting out of control.
* Where did they bury the survivors?
* Time to paint another little car on the side of the train.
* Worst Tik-Tok challenge ever.
