FRANCE INTRODUCES THE SCRATCH-AND-SNIFF POSTAGE STAMP

The French Post Office last Friday rolled out a scratch-and-sniff postage stamp to celebrate the world-famous baguette. The stamp, which costs 1.96 euro, depicts a baguette decorated with a blue-white-and-red ribbon. The stamp has a “bakery scent.” The smell can be released by the customer rubbing on the stamp.
* That’s great and all, but if you leave it in your mailbox too long it starts smelling like a yeast infection.
* Now their mailboxes are being surrounded by pigeons.
* America is really missing an opportunity by not issuing a Nirvana commemorative stamp that smells like Teen Spirit.
* They’ve got a scratch-and-sniff Snoopy stamp, but once you lick it, it smells like a wet dog.
* I guess it’s nice to celebrate baked goods. Y’know, if your country doesn’t have spaceships.
