FOODS TO BOOST YOUR SPIRITS!
Stuck at home? Got the blahs? Here, according to CNN Health, are the foods that will boost your mood! Hey hey!
– Green veggies such as spinach, broccoli, Brussels sprouts: a source of folate, a B vitamin that’s essential for the body’s production of serotonin.
– Probiotics such as yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi: keep your digestive tract healthy.
– Whole grains such as oats, brown rice, whole wheat bread: good for energy and optimal brain health.
– Vitamin D found in egg yolks, fatty fish: keeps you from being depressed.
– Coffee and tea, and dark chocolate – now we’re talking!
* The social distancing, the quarantining, the daily virus reports… those I could take, but this list is what’s going to put me over the edge.
* Kimchi! I forgot I buried a pot of it in the backyard last summer! What a dope I am.
* When will Brussels sprouts take the hint and stop trying to get us to eat them?
