FLORIDA MAN EATS PANCAKES, STOPS TRAFFIC

A Lakeland, Florida, man was arrested for eating pancakes in the middle of the road last Tuesday. Kiaron Thomas was stationed in a crosswalk of the eastbound lanes of Memorial Boulevard and Brunnell Parkway, sitting in a chair with a small table and eating pancakes. He was charged with placing an obstruction in the roadway and disrupting the free flow of traffic. Thomas, who lives about 100 yards from the intersection, told police he did it as a prank.
* Breakfast: the most important traffic obstruction of the day.
* Did he bring enough for everyone?
* He’s lucky a truck didn’t pancake him.
* “Get this man to an IHOP – STAT!”
* This one was weird even by Florida standards.
* I wish he would show pancakes a little more respect. Some of us take them very seriously.
* I guess it works if you think of it as performance art.
* But if you have to tell people it was a prank, it wasn’t a very good prank.
