FLEEING SUSPECT CAPTURED BY FALLING PANTS
A Daytona Beach, Florida, motorist trying to elude police was captured after he bailed out of his pickup truck and his pants fell to his ankles as he was running away. 24-year-old Tobias Smith crashed into another vehicle, a power pole, a fence and a barber shop as he sped away from police during an attempted traffic stop on Tuesday. Smith ran but was quickly captured when his pants fell down. He’s charged with leaving the scene of a crash, fleeing and eluding, driving without a valid license and resisting arrest.
* What he needs is a suspendered sentence.
* The cops should’ve belted him.
* This is the opposite of being “too big for your britches.”
* I hope the police weren’t exposed to any crack.
* Crashed into a barber shop? Did it jump out into the middle of the road?
* “Fleeing”, yes. “Eluding” – not so much.
* Pants falling down. Not a problem you want to have heading to jail.
