FARTING LAWYER AWARDED $170,000

A lawyer in the U.K. who had a medical condition causing him to break wind often has been awarded around $170,000 in compensation after his request to work from home was refused. Tarique Mohammed said in court that he couldn’t stop his flatulence, which was caused by medication he was taking for a heart condition. He said that he asked to work from home because the demands from his fellow workers to stop pooting were embarrassing and violated his dignity. After a tribunal hearing, the Crown Prosecution Service where Mr. Mohammed worked agreed that it had been unfair to refuse to let him work remotely two days a week to manage his heart condition and deal with the side effects in private.
* Yeah, the ‘backside’ effects.
* So he was right to make a stink about it.
* I’ve known a few long-winded lawyers, but never frequently-winded lawyers.
* What happens when he goes to court? The judge says, “One more outburst like that and I’ll clear the courtroom!”
* “I move for a change of venue, your honor, and underpants.”
* Good news for him – bad news for his family at home.
