FAMILY DOG DIGS UP DRUGS IN BACKYARD
In Oregon, a family’s 18-month-old golden retriever was digging in the backyard on Thursday. The owners of the dog, named Kenyon (the dog, not the owners), thought he dug up a time capsule, so they decided to film themselves opening it. As they did, they realized Kenyon had found drugs. County Sheriff Tim Svenson identified Kenyon’s find as more than 15 ounces of black tar heroin, with a street value of $85,000. Svenson presented Kenyon with a ribbon and named him an honorary narcotics dog for life.
* And then Kenyon ate the ribbon.
* So, why would our ancestors put heroin in a time capsule?
* 15 ounces of black tar heroin. Back in the day, that would have lasted Courtney Love a whole month.
* Now all the real narcotics dogs are super ticked off.
