FAMILY BOUGHT A FOX THINKING IT WAS A DOG

A family bought a cute new puppy from a small shop in Lima, Peru. The puppy, which they named “Run Run,” played happily with other dogs in the neighborhood, but as it grew up, signs emerged that something wasn’t quite right. It began to chase neighborhood chickens and ducks and kill them. It ate a neighbor’s three large guinea pigs. It turned out that Run Run wasn’t actually a dog, but Andean fox. Run Run ended up running away from home and his owners, along with the Forest and Wildlife Service, are now looking for him to take him to a special center or zoo.
