Here’s another of those relatively inexpensive p.r. stunts where they get radio & local news stations to talk about the product. A Scotland-based cookie maker called Border Biscuits is hiring a cookie taster at a salary of $52,000 per year. The job is to taste-test the company’s new cookies. You not only get $1000 a week, but all the free cookies you can eat, 35 days of vacation, free parking on-site, and access to free online workout classes. Interested candidates must have “finely-tuned taste buds” and a talent for baking.
* I’m sorry, that should read: “A talent for puking.” Because you’re gonna be eating a LOT of cookies.
