EAGLES FANS SPREAD LOVED ONES' ASHES AT PHILADELPHIA PARADE
More than a few Philadelphia Eagles fans were seen spreading ashes of a loved one at Thursday’s Super Bowl victory parade.
– Philly native Dustin Slaughter said that if his pop were alive today, he would have been one of the first folks to line up to catch the show. He carried a small urn of his father’s ashes with him. He said. “It feels good to have him with me for a day like today.”
– Eagles fan Vinny Chev tweeted that his uncle’s remains were also being taken to the parade by his brother to be spread out.
– Another devoted fan flew 1,000 miles from Tampa, Florida, to spread his grandfather’s ashes at the parade. A video showed the fan, wearing a retired Jerome Brown number 99 jersey, dumping the remains out of a plastic baggie.
* Another fan died on purpose and had himself cremated just so he could be spread along the parade route. That’s a fan.
* Philly’s a tough town. One guy was trying to spread his relative’s remains along the parade route, but the relative kept yelling, “I’m not dead, dammit!”
* “Hey, careful, dude! You just got your uncle all over my pant leg!”
* Dustin Slaughter? More like DustBIN Slaughter.
* After the parade, crews hosed down the streets, and all the departed loved ones were washed into the sewer.
