DOG LOSES WEDDING RINGS

Hey – here’s a great idea: let’s have the dog carry the wedding rings to the altar! Jeff Brines’ sister was getting married last Saturday at Washington Park in Denver, Colorado. The plan was for Tucker the dog to be the ring-bearer – the rings were tied with twine to his collar. But as the time approached, Brines turned around and realized Tucker was gone. Then, moments before the ring portion of the ceremony, Tucker came back wet, and the rings on Tucker’s collar were gone. The couple laughed it off, and some people at the wedding donated rings for the ceremony. Afterwards, Brines was in the water with his shoes off, looking for the rings.
* “I now pronounce you man and — dammit, Tucker!”
* Pets are fun.
* Tucker may have lost the rings, but he sure will bring you any old stick you throw.
* I would say the brilliant part of this plan was using twine.
* They’re gonna want to check every pawn shop within walking distance of the nearest hobo.
