CUB SCOUTS NOW ACCEPTING GIRLS

The Boy Scouts will soon be allowing girls to join the Cub Scouts program. Chief Scout executive Michael Surbaugh said in a statement: “We believe it is critical to evolve how our programs meet the needs of families interested in positive and lifelong experiences for their children.” Starting next year, girls will be able to join Cub Scouts programs. Older girls will then be allowed to join a program enabling them to earn the organization’s highest rank of Eagle Scout starting in 2019.
* This give the Boy Scouts plenty of time to be prepared for the girls, if you know what I mean.
* First thing the girls are going to say: “You call this a den? I want to repaint the walls. And this carpet has to go.”
* The ball’s in your court, Girl Scouts.
* We need just one organization: The Gender-Fluid Scouts.
* For a little extra controversy, PETA should step in and object to the terms “Cub” Scout and “Eagle” Scout.
