COVID VACCINE WON’T BE A WALK IN THE PARK
Experts are saying that, while the upcoming Covid-19 vaccines will be effective, they will have strong side effects. Dr. Sandra Fryhofer of the American Medical Association said both Pfizer’s and Moderna’s Covid-19 vaccines require two doses at varying intervals, and she worries whether her patients will come back for a second dose because of the potentially unpleasant side effects they may experience after the first shot. Fryhofer said, “We really need to make patients aware that this is not going to be a walk in the park.” Participants in the vaccine trials said they were experiencing high fever, body aches, bad headaches, daylong exhaustion and other symptoms after receiving the shots, but they often went away after a day, sometimes sooner, and that it was better than getting Covid-19.
* This is odd, because one of the side effects is you want to go take a walk in the park.
* It won’t be a walk in the park. Nor will it be a piece of cake, child’s play, a cinch, kid stuff, a picnic, a pushover, easy peazy or a snap. On the other hand, it will be a no-brainer.
* Americans don’t like it when there’s not enough salt on their French fries. We’ll never get through this.
* Here’s what you do: turn getting the vaccine into one of those internet challenges, like the Ice Bucket Challenge or the Hot Pepper Challenge.
* Can’t each dose come with a small bottle of some kind of Happy Pills?
* What I’m hearing is: Great excuse to skip a day at work!
