SURVEY: TEACHING BABY TO WALK IS MOST REWARDING
A new survey of 2,000 parents of children under six years old, by baby furniture maker Stokke, finds that two-thirds of parents say teaching their toddler how to walk was the most rewarding milestone in being a parent.
* Although the parents who said that were delirious from not getting enough sleep, because every parent knows sleeping through the night is the most rewarding thing.
* You teach your baby to walk, and then immediately spend all day keeping it from walking where you don’t want it to go.
* Stokke reminds you they also make baby gates for the top of the staircase.
* I bet if you left a baby alone, it would figure out how to walk, but hey – if it makes you feel better …
* Baby’s First Curse Word has to be up there in the Top Five.
