CONSTANTLY BARKING DOG SHOT BY THE VETERINARIAN NEXT DOOR

A Louisiana veterinarian is accused of shooting her next door neighbor’s dog dead because it wouldn’t stop barking. Dr. Kelly Folse, 35, works at a clinic in Harahan in the New Orleans suburbs. She been charged with killing Bruizer, a 15-month-old American bull dog. Bruizer’s owner, Stacey Fitzner, had left the dog in her backyard when she went to work. She came home to find it shot in the back of the head. Fitzner rushed Bruizer to the clinic – the same clinic where Dr. Folse works – but Bruizer had to be put down. Folse and Fitzner had exchanges angry texts several times over the dog’s barking. Folse was taken into custody and has since been fired from the veterinary hospital which she had worked at for 20 years, since the age of 15. She was said to be well-liked by her clients and had never been the subject of any complaints. Fitzner said that since the shooting she doesn’t feel safe in her own home anymore.
* She’s fine, as long as she doesn’t bark.
* She needs a pet that’s as big and threatening as a dog, but quiet. A shark, maybe?
* Stacey Fitzner should just move. But first sell her house – to an opera singer.
* Sadly, Bruizer’s bark was worse than his bite.
* Now Dr. Folse is in the doghouse.
* This is a horrible story, sure, but how many of you with barking dogs in your neighborhood right now are thinking, “I know where that woman is coming from.”
