CHINESE MAN DRIVES INTO RIVER AFTER PASSING HIS DRIVING TEST

A man in Zunyi, China, passed his driver’s test. Ten minutes later, on his way home, he drove off a bridge and into a river while reading text messages from friends congratulating him on passing his exam. The man, a Mr. Zhang, was able to escape his car before it sunk, but he did dislocate his shoulder in the incident. The maximum punishment for using your phone when driving in China is two points off your license and a 200 yuan fine ($28).
* Seems to me the maximum punishment is having to buy a new car.
* When he whined about his accident the cops told him “Cry me a river.”
* Extra sad: His six-year-old kid assembled that phone at the factory.
* Did he go back to the testing place and ask for a new license, because “this one got wet”?
