CANADIAN PARATROOPER DRINKS BEER ON THE WAY DOWN

The Canadian Army is investigating after a selfie video was posted on social media of a soldier parachuting over Petawawa, Ontario, while drinking a beer. As he descends to the ground, the soldier opens a can of Miller Lite beer and takes a few sips. The unnamed soldier was from the Royal 22nd Regiment and the video was filmed during recent parachute training. The soldier left the Canadian Forces on September 1. Canadian National Defense says, “The conduct of the soldier is completely inappropriate, unsafe and not in accordance with Canadian Army safety static line parachute procedures.”
* I’ll say. The official Canadian paratrooper beverage is Molson.
* Making him drink Miller Lite was punishment enough.
* Posting a video of it earned him a discharge just on stupidity.
* Another paratrooper cooked some back bacon on the way down, but since there was no alcohol involved, they let it pass.
* Well, what else are you going to do between the time you jump out of the plane and land on the ground? There’s not enough time to do the Word Jumble puzzle.
